Batch Ordering: Step-by-Step Tutorial

Batch ordering of credit reports can save you time if you want to order and print multiple credit reports at the same time.  If you're not familiar with the consumer information required, or with the basic ordering process, you may want to read about ordering a new report first.

The ePrint module must be installed before you can print from 1 Source Data.
If this module is not installed, Internet Explorer will attempt to download a file instead of printing.  More information about downloads is available in the FAQ.

Step 1: Click on the "Batch Order Reports" link from the main desktop.

The Batch Order Reports link on the 1 Source Data.net desktop is shown below.

Step 2 : Fill out Customer Information Screen and Order Report

The Batch Order screen has two panes.  The leftmost pane (outlined in red) is a consumer information screen, similar to the one used to order standalone reports.  The pane to the right (outlined in magenta) shows the reports that you have ordered, and gives printing options.

For our example, we will order three reports.  For each borrower, fill out the customer information screen and order the report.

Step 3 : Batch Printing

When you order a report, the report file number and the consumer's name and social security number will appear in the right-hand pane.  An example with three ordered reports appears below.

Ordered Report List

Note that you cannot change any information at this point.  The file number is generated by the system, and the applicant data has been taken from the borrower information that you provided.

STATUS BOXES
The first column of checkboxes on the left (outlined in red) indicates whether the order is completed for printing.  The next column of checkboxes (outlined in maroon) shows which reports you have already printed.

PRINT BUTTONS
To print an individual report, press the Print button next to that report (one of the buttons outlined in blue).  This will launch ePrint, and will change the adjacent print status checkbox.

BATCH PRINT BUTTON
To print all of the reports you haven't already printed, press the Batch Print button (outlined in cyan).  Batch printing is done through ePrint and will change all of the print status checkboxes to be checked.

CLEAR BATCH BUTTON
To remove all of the reports from this panel, press the Clear Batch button (outlined in magenta).  The reports that you ordered will not be deleted from the system; they will still be available for printing and editing as existing credit reports.
