| Ordering a New Flood Report |
|
To order a new flood report, use one of the following methods:
- Follow the New Report link in the Flood section of the main desktop
- Press the Order button on the Flood panel of the credit file screen
- Press the New File button in the desktop's Flood tab

If you launched this dialog from the credit file screen, the name and reference number (if you specified one) will be transferred to this screen. You must specify a property address [street address, city, state, and ZIP code]. If no name was provided, you must also complete the first and last name fields.
The following options are listed on the right-hand panel:
- Flood: Flood Zone Determination. This option cannot be deselected.
- Life of Loan: Guarantee that the issued certificate is good for the life of the loan
- HMDA: Include geostatistical data in accordance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act of 1975
- Rush Order: Attempt a rush order. Again, using this option may incur an extra charge.
To process your order, press the Order button. When you submit your order, you may receive a completion response, an in-progress response, or an error. If your report requires manual verification or extra processing time, you will receive a notice with an explanation and a Geotrac reference number. |
| Duplicate Reports |
|
If the system already has another flood report on file for your borrower, you will be shown a duplicate reports warning. To view the existing report as a PDF, click the open link. To order a new report, click the New Report button.

| Finding a Flood Report |
|
As with finding credit reports, you can find flood reports either through a link on the main desktop or through the Flood desktop tab. Unlike the Find Credit Report dialog, the Find Flood Report dialog maintains the search fields and results on the same screen. The screen below is from the desktop link; the desktop tab shows the last 40 records and does not show the search form.

The fields used for a flood insurance record are ID, Reference Number, Name, Provider ID, Status, Ordered By, Price, and Invoice. You can sort by all fields except Invoice.
You can search for the following keywords:
- File #: Automatically generated by 1 Source Data. Referred to in the table as ID.
- Reference #: User-defined reference number.
- Provider #: Geotrac ID number.
- First Name: Consumer's first name.
- Last Name: Consumer's last name.
- Status: Refer to the status table below.
- Start Date: Date to start searching from. Press the Today link for today's date, or leave blank to start at the earliest activity date.
- End Date: Date to stop searching at. Leave blank for today's date.
The following states are used for status:
- -ALL-: Unspecified; retrieve all.
- NEW: New entries that haven't been processed.
- PENDING: Entries waiting for a response from Geotrac.
- MANUAL: Entries where Geotrac is looking up information manually.
- COMPLETED: Completed entries.
- ERROR: Entries where processing has failed.
When you click view in the Invoice column, you will get an invoice in Web-based format. When you click on the ID number, you will get a PDF Flood Report if your order had been completed--a status message otherwise. |
