Web-based Credit Reports

Web-based credit reports allow users a quick look at a consumer's credit history.  This format is typically used to show prequalification reports, but can also be used to view RMCRs and customized forms.  When viewing a prequal in this format, users can easily request tradeline supplements.

Viewing and Printing

Web-based Credit Report

When you view a report in this format, you will see a row of buttons at the top of the report.  The Express Print and ePrint options (outlined in magenta and red, respectively) will print the report in PDF format.  Refer to the FAQ's printing question for more details.

The Preview button (outlined in cyan) previews the ePrint document by displaying a PDF document.

The Print Screen button (outlined in blue) will print the report with the Web-based formatting.

Supplements and Sources

When viewing a prequal in Web-based format, you'll note two added links for each tradeline: one for the source (seen below outlined in red), and one for the creditor (outlined in magenta)

Sample Tradeline

Clicking the source link will bring up a separate window showing the original tradeline information that were merged together.  This will tell you whether 1, 2, or all three credit repositories are reporting the information shown on the credit report.  Use this to help determine whether the credit repositories are reporting data incorrectly.

The creditor link will open a Trade Supplement window for you to request a supplement.

Requesting a Supplement

Tradeline Supplement Request

When you open the window to request a tradeline supplement, you will see the screen above.  The creditor and account number will already be filled in from the tradeline information; the orderer information will be taken from your account information.

You must provide a reason for submitting this request.  Either select one or more checkboxes or type in additional instructions.  Although the additional instructions field is marked as required, it is not needed if you select options with the checkboxes.  The Clear All button will clear all of the verification option checkboxes.  Press the Submit Order button to submit this request.

When your supplement request is submitted, a copy of the request will appear both on the Credit File page and on the Requests tab in the main desktop.  When a processor completes your supplement, it will appear elsewhere on the Credit File page and on the desktop's Supplements tab.  For more information about supplement status, see the Credit File page.
