What does an "Access Denied" error mean?

This error message is sometimes encountered with Windows NT, 2000, or XP Professional while trying to download or install programs from the 1 Source Data download page.  It means that your Windows user account does not have permission to install programs on the computer.  Contact your network administrator (the person who manages computers for your company) for permission to install the software.

If you get this message while using an LOS interface, then that means that don't have write or read permission to a particular directory/folder (usually on a network) that the interface uses.
