AOL Settings

1 Source Data requires the use of Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher.  Although AOL's built-in browser is based on Internet Explorer, it is not fully compatible with some advanced features.

To use Internet Explorer with AOL, first sign on to AOL, then minimize - but do not close - the AOL window.  You can minimize an application by pressing the Windows Minimize button () at the top right corner of your window.  Launch Internet Explorer by double-clicking on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop, it's a blue icon with the letter e.  (If you don't see an Internet Explorer icon, try pressing the Start button, going to the Programs menu, and looking for Internet Explorer.)
