Instant View is a feature in 1 Source Data that allows retrieval of a PDF credit report without logging in to the system. To use Instant View, you must have a Report ID and an Instant View Password.
You may allow a lender to view a consumer's credit report directly from 1 Source Data using Instant View. To do this, give the lender the Report ID number, the Instant View password, and the website address to access 1 Source Data. Although you may give an Instant View password to a lender, never disclose your regular login name or password.
| What are the ID and Password? |
|
The Report ID is the report's file number. This is given in the credit file screen, various indices, and the credit report itself (outlined in red in the example below). The Instant View Password is given in the Miscellaneous Information section of the prequal or unmerged report (outlined below in magenta).

Contact your CRA for assistance if the Miscellaneous Information field is missing from your credit reports. This field should be on all prequalification reports and may be on RMCRs, but CRAs can elect not to include it. |
| Using Instant View |
|
To use Instant View, start at the regular login screen. Instead on logging in with your regular login name and password, click the Instant View link.

At the Instant View screen, type in the report ID and the password, then press the View button. Your report will be generated as a PDF file. If you type in an incorrect file number or password, you will receive an Access Denied error. Check the checkbox if you want to see the original report before it was supplemented or converted to a RMCR.
