Agent Link Genesis 2000 Interface - Download and Install

The Agent Link Genesis 2000 interface allows you to send and receive borrowor liabilities using Genesis 2000.  

Download and Install the Genesis 2000 Interface

At the Main Desktop, click on the Download link at the top right hand corner:

A Software Download Page will come up.  Scroll down to the LOS Interface section and click on the Genesis 2000 Interface link:

Using the Genesis 2000 Interface
Preparing the Borrower File

To order a credit report with 1 Source Data through Genesis 2000 Interface, create a loan file in Genesis 2000 and make sure you save the file.  The following fields are required in order to run a report in 1 Source Data:

Launching and Setting Up the Interface
Once you have input all the required information and have saved the file, minimize Genesis 2000.  Go to your desktop and double click on the AgentLnk icon.

The Agent Link screen will popup.  Click on the Add path button for Genesis data path.  You will only have to specify the Data Path the first time you use the interface.

After clicking on the Add path button, you will be asked to select the Master.dbf file as shown by the dialog below.  At this point, you can enter the Genesis data path or browse for the Master.dbf file by clicking on the Browse... button.

If you are using a standalone version of Genesis, the default data path is "C:\genesis\data".  To determine your data path, see How to find Genesis's Data Path.  After entering the data path or selecting the master.dbf file, click on the OK button.  If you don't see the OK button, click here to troubleshoot.

You are now back to the Agent Link screen.  Click on the Add User button.

Afterward, enter your Genesis User ID and click OK.

Ordering the Report

Once the Data Path and the User ID have been specified, click on the SELECT FILE button to list the borrrower files in Genesis 2000 (Note: You can check the auto view list checkbox if you want the borrower list to automatically appear the next time you launch the interface):

The borrower list will popup.  Double click on the borrower file that you want to run the report for:

Input your 1 Source Data Login and Password then click on the Order button to log in (Note: You can check the Save pw checkbox to have the interface remember your password everytime you run the report):

Once, the credit screen pops up, verify that the consumer's information is correct, then click on the Order button to order the report:

You will then see a screen that tells you  to wait while the system is ordering the report:

Once the credit order is completed, you will see the Credit Run Result screen.  Click on the Export file button to import the liabilities into Genesis 2000:

Note: Options for the Credit Run Result screen:

  • Req RMCR:  Click on this button to submit a RMCR request to the system.
  • Export file:  Click on this button to tell 1 Source Data to transfer liabilities from the credit reporting system to the borrower file in Genesis 2000.  This will overwrite all existing liabilties that were in the borrower file.
  • View:  Click on this button to view the credit report.  If the Web radio button is checked, then a web-based report will be generated.  If the PDF radio button is checked, then an Adobe Acrobat report will be generated.  Viewing the report in Web format will allow you to send in supplement requests.
  • expressPrint / ePrint:  You can click on either one of these buttons to print the report.  Note:  Adobe Acrobat 4.05 or higher needs to be installed on your computer in order to print reports.  To find out more about expressPrint and ePrint, refer to the Printing Capabilites document.
  • Print pull-down menu:  Click on this menu to open up other reports for printing such as the California Score Disclosure Notice, Derogatory Letter, Creditors Report, Derogatory Accounts Report, Mortgage Accounts Report, Mortgage Accounts Report With Scores, and the Statement of Denial.
  • Close:  Click on this button to close the Credit Run Result screen.

Once the system has finished importing all liabilities into Genesis 2000, you will be shown the Export Successful message.  Click on the OK button to close the popup:

Click on the Close button to close the Credit Run Result screen:

Upload the Liabilities
Return to your Genesis 2000 software.  Click on the Credit icon, then choose the Upload Credit Report menu item:

If you have created multiple borrower files on the same consumer, then you will see the following screen.  Make sure you know which file you want the liabilities to be imported to and double click on that file.  The files are ordered by Last Activity with the latest file listed at the bottom.  If you have created only one file on the consumer, then you will not see the following screen:

The Credit Information screen will pop up.  At the top of the screen, check the appropriate options that you want Genesis 2000 to use when uploading the liabilities into the borrower file.  Once you have chosen your options, click on the Upload button

Once the upload process is completed, click on the Forms button on the top-left corner, then choose Form 1033 to open the borrower file:

The borrower file will open with all the liabilities uploaded.  Liabilities are typically shown on Page 2 and Page 3 of the file.
