Internet Explorer opens a blank new window
SYMPTOMSWhen trying to view the credit report or clicking on any hyperlink in Internet Explorer that pops up a new window, you get a blank or empty window and can't do anything.
CAUSEInternet Explorer was not installed completely or got corrupted.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, follow these steps:
- Click on the "Start" button on the lower left corner of your screen. This will bring up a side panel.
- Select Run
- In the Open text field, type in "regsvr32.exe urlmon.dll" without the quotations and click on the OK button.
- If successful, you will get a message "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded." Click OK to close the dialog.
